Meet The Team
PlayMakers USA was founded in 2024 by two West Linn dads who wanted their children’s passion for youth athletics to be met with unforgettable experiences. They created an opportunity for the perfect balance of fun, competition, and personal growth. We have a strong belief in the transformative power of sports to inspire, empower, and develop young athletes. PlayMaker’s mission is to create a positive, supportive environment where kids can sharpen their skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships.
A secondary mission of the founders is to create an opportunity for parents to connect and create a better community through youth sports. You can look forward to extra opportunities throughout the year to get together and get to know the community.

Co-Founder
Tony Pilla
Tony co-founded PlayMakers USA driven by a vision to create a better way to engage youth in athletics, focusing on building community through fun and inclusive sports. A resident of West Linn, Tony is father to two young athletes, Roya (9) and Luca (7).
His competitive experience spans both soccer and basketball through college. In high school, Tony played for the nationally top-ranked Christian Brothers High soccer team in St. Louis, MO, under the winningest soccer coach in US high school history. He earned a full soccer scholarship to Webster University. Concurrently, he played basketball throughout high school, competing alongside NBA All-star Larry Hughes, and later walked onto the basketball team at Webster University.
You'll often find him coaching, playing in local soccer, softball, and basketball leagues, and cheering on the kids.

Co-Founder
Jeoff De Waele
Jeoff is a proud husband and father of two boys, 6 and 9 years old. Since moving to West Linn in 2022, he’s been actively involved in the community—especially through youth sports. As a business owner and volunteer coach, he dedicates much of his time to mentoring young athletes and fostering a positive environment for kids to learn, grow, and have fun through baseball. Jeoff has coached multiple seasons and takes pride in helping instill teamwork, discipline, and confidence in young players. Outside of coaching, Jeoff stays active—whether it’s working out, playing baseball, or shooting hoops. Living a healthy, balanced lifestyle is a priority he aims to pass on to both his kids and the athletes he coaches.

Board Advisor - Soccer Programs
Eric enders
Coach Eric brings a lifelong passion for competitive athletics and a deep commitment to youth development to the West Linn community. A multi-sport athlete with a foundation in leadership, Eric focuses on cultivating more than just technical skill; he is dedicated to helping young athletes build the confidence, resilience, and discipline necessary to succeed both on and off the field.
A product of the Philadelphia suburbs, Eric’s athletic career was defined by versatility and leadership. He was a four-year soccer varsity standout and two-year team captain, Eric anchored his high school squad with a strategic mindset and a lead-by-example philosophy. His competitive drive extended to the diamond and the mat, competing in both baseball and wrestling. These experiences instilled in him a comprehensive understanding of diverse athletic mechanics and the unique mental toughness required for individual and team sports.
After earning his degree from Temple University, Eric launched his professional career in technology at SAP. It was there that he met his wife, Sarah, beginning a partnership rooted in shared values and a love for active living.
In 2013, Eric and Sarah relocated to West Linn, where they have since become fixtures of the local sports scene. As a father to two young athletes—Olivia (8) and Abby (5)—Eric views coaching through a dual lens: as a mentor aiming for excellence and as a parent invested in the long-term character growth of the next generation.
"My goal is to instill a love for the game while teaching the value of a high-performance work ethic. I believe that through sports, children learn the essential habits—teamwork, accountability, and persistence—that serve as the blueprint for a successful life."
