Frequently asked questions
General
We understand that summer plans can change. Our policy is as follows:
• Cancellations made 2+ weeks out: Full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
• Cancellations made within 2 weeks of camp: We will provide a credit toward a future PlayMakers camp or season.
• Cancellations made within 1 week of camp: No refunds or credits are available, as coaching staff and supplies have already been finalized based on registration numbers.
• Athletic Wear: Comfortable clothing and sturdy athletic shoes (no sandals, please!)
• Water & Food: A large, labeled, refillable water bottle, a hearty sack lunch, and two snacks for our energy breaks.
• Sun Protection: Please apply sunscreen before drop-off. We will provide breaks for kids to re-apply throughout the day.
• Bounce House Gear: On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, please pack a bathing suit and a towel, as we will be incorporating water play and bounce houses into our rotation.
• Pro-Tip: Please label all personal items with your child's name. We also ask that electronics and phones stay at home so campers can fully engage with their teammates.
To maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone, we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding behavior that disrupts the camp experience. If a child is showing poor sportsmanship, behaving disrespectfully toward coaches or other campers, or exhibiting harmful physical behavior, they will be asked to go home. In these instances, a refund for the remaining camp time will not be issued. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect and teamwork.
Yes! We want to make it easier for the whole family to get involved. We offer a 10% sibling discount for each additional child registered from the same household. At checkout, please use the offer code CAMPER
Our full-day schedule is designed to keep kids moving and engaged through variety. We operate in 30-minute blocks to keep the energy high and the transition quick. A typical day includes rotations of:
• Basketball
• Wiffle ball
• Soccer
• Pickleball
• Arts and crafts
• Bike riding
• Free play
For lunch, we enjoy a picnic-style meal outside to soak up the summer weather. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we add a bounce house into the activity rotation for an extra level of fun.
Our camp is led by PlayMakers operating partners Brian Conklin, Jeff De Waele and Tony Pilla. Working alongside them is a dedicated team of local high school and college athletes. These coaches are chosen for their sports knowledge and their ability to act as positive, high-energy role models for our youth athletes.
We prioritize safety and quality instruction by maintaining an average 8:1 camper-to-coach ratio. This ensures every child is supervised and receives individual encouragement throughout the day.
